We will be happy to meet for a free consultation with anyone interested in our services, and answer any and all questions at that time. But here are some of the most frequently asked questions we are asked:
Q. What kind of photo sessions do you offer? A. We offer portrait sessions: glamour, family, fantasy, or fine art nude/white sheet, as well as personal branding portraits.
Q. Can I include family member(s) or friend(s) in my Glamour session? A. Absolutely! Besides your individual photos, we are happy to shoot group sessions of two or more. They can include family member(s), friend(s), or a partner or spouse.
Q. Do you provide a makeup and hair artist? A. We do. Some women prefer no makeup or a minimum. And that’s fine. But some enjoy being pampered with this complementary service, and feel it makes them look their best. Either is fine with us.
Q. How long does a photoshoot last? A. Including makeup and hair, the session lasts between 2 and 3 hours, depending on the person. It there is a group it may run longer. We want to make sure that you don’t feel rushed.
Q. Where will the photo session happen? A. At our studio at 6 Vernon Street, Somerville. If you prefer, we can travel to another location of your choosing within the greater Boston area. Travel costs may apply.
Q. Is there any particular preparation for the shoot? A. Yes. And we will discuss the preparation when we meet for the consult, and then send you a reminder in the days leading up to the session.
Q. What is the cost of your services? A. We will happily discuss purchase options at our free consultation. The photo session costs $190. And our folio packages start at $1200, with options for a-la-carte photos. But there is no obligation to buy any prints or packages.
Q. I am thinking about doing a Fine Art Nude or a “white sheet” session. But I’m pretty shy, especially in front of a camera. Can you help me through the session? A. Absolutely! We totally understand the feeling, and will give you the freedom to reveal as much of your beauty as you feel comfortable with, at your pace. No pressure. (though you may grow more comfortable and surprise yourself before the session is over!)
Q. Can I bring along a friend to the photo session? A. Of course. Sometimes a friend puts a client more at ease. That is entirely your choice.
Q. I see that some of the photos in your galleries look painted. Can you do that with my pictures? A. Yes, we provide this free service for any image that is printed on a canvas.
Q. Do you provide digital files of the photos? We give our clients complimentary digital files suitable for social media of all the printed photos purchased.
